In RioBroker, an Endpoint is a storage location (bucket or network share) that can be used in data transfers. Unlike Brokered agents, the data which resides in an endpoint is not managed or indexed by the RioBroker application. Instead, Endpoints are typically used as one-time migration locations or a source for data to be migrated to an indexed agent.
NAS Endpoints can also be configured as WatchFolders if using the Rio WatchFolder service.
