ΒΆ Endpoints
In RioBroker, an Endpoint is a storage location (bucket or network share) that can be used in data transfers. Unlike Brokered agents, the data which resides in an endpoint is not managed or indexed by the RioBroker application. Instead, Endpoints are typically used as one-time migration locations or a source for data to be migrated to an indexed agent.
NAS Endpoints can also be configured as WatchFolders if using the Rio WatchFolder service.
Supported RioBroker endpoints include:
- NAS
- S3
- FTP
From the user interface, navigating to the Archive section, users can configure a one-time migrate from an endpoint to a broker.
