How to run a profiler against Rio running as a service
- Unzip visualVM, get out the command line
- Go to C:\Program Files\Spectra Logic Corporation\SpectraRioBroker\server
- Create a folder named exactly “.escapepod”
- Copy everything from The program data data folder into that directory
- Once that is done right click on SpectraRioBrokerServer.exe and say Run as Administrator
- Open an administrator CLI and put in
- C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\visualvm_217\visualvm_217\bin\visualvm --jdkhome "C:\Program Files\Spectra Logic Corporation\SpectraRioBroker\Java\jdk17.0.4_9"
